Trial and error" is a dimension shaped by both digital and analog reality, creating its own. The work explores the creative process of this intermediate world. From conception to realization, it unfolds in an irregular spiral motion, characterized by trial and error.
It's the trials and errors that lead to further attempts and failures, eventually culminating in a result. The process doesn't solely take place in the minds of the creators but also in interaction with the environment and in the engagement with the 3D graphics software Cinema 4D: conversations with others reshape or solidify ideas, releasing energy that influences the creative process. While working on "trial and error" with Cinema 4D, each click reveals a new path - as with every thought and conversation. These turns are made visible in Joana Pratschke's animation "trial and error," with sound brought to life by the producer jpeg.love.
Entering the resulting dimension allows one to experience the creative process of "trial and error" and understand it as a metaphor for togetherness and the process of becoming in this world.
